NGC 2168 or Messier 35 in Gemini
M35, or NGC 2168, is a close (2970 ly) open cluster in Gemini.
M35 is so close to us that it can be seen with the naked eye.
It is a young cluster and therefore contains predominantly
hot, blue stars. NGC 2158 is another open cluster in the
frame which is much farther from us (11 000+ ly)
and contains smaller, older, cooler, red stars.
